This is not necesarily true. Most tilers price per square meter. Also, bigger tiles = more waste if you have windows or furniture to go around.0 -

I used either Unibond or Unifix (blue and white 1Kg tub) from Homebase but others are available from Topps made by Bal. It isn't cement based it sets like araldite does and is as hard as nails, is bacteriacidal and just about impervious to everythng. I did my walk in shower wih it and the tiles turn black but the grout stays white. I found the best way to apply it was with a finger and clean up as you go as a thin film of it sets in a couple of minutes and it is a right so and so to remove. With matt tiles you need to wash and wipe as you go as it fills the finish up. That being said it is well worth the effort in the long run.
