    Unfortunatly its not that, which if it was I could understand.

    As mentioned a neighbour has said they would of bought our flat but it was more expensive. I didnt ask him about the comment as it was our first time meeting and I just thought he made a mistake.

    Out of 4 flats we were 3rd to buy

    Why does your neibour say he would have bought your flat had it not been more expensive? This suggests that he considered it a better flat for some reason?

    No, they were just saying it as they said they preferred to be on the left side of the building. There is no difference, they were just being polite

    There is a difference which is the side of the building. Is the view different, is one north and one south facing?
