Reliable fridge freezers

Options
As the topic suggests - wanting recommendations for reliable fridge freezers.

Alternatively wanting suggestions of brands to avoid. Beko, Prestige? Just want something that will last a good number of years. How many of these big brands are actually quite bad i.e. Hotpoint, Samsung, Bosch etc.

Miele would be nice, but budget doesn't quite match the desire.

TIA
Rider

Was only going to suggest Miele as that's what we have. Seem to be excellent :)

    From Which:

    "Fridge freezer reviews: Reliability

There are plenty of above-average fridge freezer brands to choose from. Siemens leads the way, with a reliability score of 96%. And Beko, Liebherr, LG, Neff and Bosch all deliver reliability scores of 91% or above. You’ll find Whirlpool and Samsung at the other end of the reliability index, with scores of 78% and 77% respectively.

Two manufacturers’ machines dominated the survey responses we received, with 34% of all responses coming from owners of Bosch and Hotpoint fridge freezers."

    Lots more via Google !

I have a Beko FF and a Whirlpool larder fridge which is about 300 years old and still going strong !

Anything German (that doesn't include De Dietrich, as they are Italian now), Liebherr or Sub-Zero are by far the best, however Beko cooling appliances are suprisingly good if you are on a budget. (Infact, I am due to buy a Beko freezer next week, it's around 30% cheaper than the German brands and I can't justify spending the extra, even though I sell Miele and Neff appliances)

Yea, have tried Google, but typically comes up with price runner or consumer reviews. Not keen on consumer reviews as it's not a long term test or able to compare against a number of manufacturers.

Always been a fan of german makes - happy to see Siemens there though.
