Hi there,
I have ben looking for a laptop to buy for home use. Mainly want something with good battery life and quick processor.
I have found this ACER laptop, which is the cheapest 4GB laptop I have seen @ £379
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-9915.aspx
Is it worth it? It is quite new so no reviews that I can see on the net...
My budget cannot strectch any further as I refuse to pay £400 for one.
Thanking you in advance for your advice!
CJ

I think you should look here instead

You get 2 years warranty and John Lewis have always given me great service.
I'd rather have a Tosh than an Acer. In fact im typing on one bought from John Lewis about two years ago.
Mind you, the Acer does have a good spec but im not sure on their reliability/service. You might be able to get the same one/similiar via john lewis and get the 2 yr warranty0 -
This has a Celeron processor. A Pentium has a maths co-processor built in. If you do graphics or rendering it makes a serious difference. If not then should be OK.Is it worth it?0 -
This laptop as listed in another thread is better value imo. Or if you really like Acers, the one below from simply acer is pretty good.
