Vision Aid Overseas
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend.
She is a qualified optician and is going to Africa to use her skills there. She is going out for two weeks and paying for her own flight and accommodation.
The first week there her and the team test eyes and note down anyone who needs a cataract operation. During the second week a surgeon goes out there and performs these ops. Something that they wouldn't otherwise have.
She is fundraising and all money goes towards the cost of the ops.
