I noticed that ASDA in Stockport were selling a 24 bottle case of Brahma for £9.98 , but I have noticed that Netto are selling 24 bottles of Kronenburg 1664 (330ml) for £8.99 - this is actually imported from France! (not the inferior UK stuff) hic hic.
    cheers
  • ASDA in Portlethen were selling 24 for 9.98 last weekend, went in tonight for more and it's now 4 for 3.38!
  • Yeah whatever.

Brahma is quite a good clean, crisp tasing lager along the lines of corona as previously mentioned.

It is a much better tastin lager than a majority of the crap for sale in theis country that people seem to drink because they always have like Stella (wife beater) Carling, Fosters, & other assorted s*ite I could mention.

sorry BUDdy - but Brahma is a lager for people....

... who don't like lager :rotfl:

fizzy bland alcoholic water - why do you think they're having to sell it off cheap ??
    am I missing something ??

!!!!!!! Its known as a special introductory offer, most places are now putting it up to normal price of £3 + for 4 bottles. While its £2.49 for 6 get as many as you can.

Only problem ive been drinking everynight this week, goes great with food
  • just bought 9x12 packs@4.99 each at tesco north harbour(portsmouth),but had to ask if there were some out the back as there was only a small shelf space allocted for them,no big display.
was told offer is on until 23rd may or when stock runs out,and stock was dwindling.
also had 4 packs on display for £3.58

It appears its far from new on the market it has been brewed in brazil since 1888! >>>>

BRAHMA, one of the world's top ten beer brands, captures the very essence of this effortless Brasilian flair. With a distinctive, easy-drinking taste and original, fluidly curved bottle, BRAHMA is Brasilian to the last drop. Even the bottle seems to sway a little, using Ginga of its own.

Brewed in Brasil since 1888, when brewmaster Joseph Villiger established the brewery in Rio de Janeiro, BRAHMA has become Brasil's most famous beer. Yet, more than just a piece of authentic Brasilian heritage, BRAHMA is a celebration of a way of living that embraces optimism, inventiveness and ingenuity. Life's better when you live it with flair.

Same deal online as well. OK, it's £5 delivery but if you already shop online there no big deal. Plus, in my case I'm so far away from a Tesco that it's cheaper to order online - got together with friends and we are going to order MANY cases. LOL! BTW, jimmyt, I think you mean Gnat's Pee. And it clearly isn't, mate. But each to their own.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

Just been to Tesco to secure my 12 pack. There's no way you can say this beer isn't nice, it's got a lovely crisp slightly fruity flavour. I like Carling and Foster's too, but whatever your preference at 4.99 for 12 x 355ml this is wicked value in anyone's book.
