DD2 dropped in for a bacon buttie which has made be a bit late starting to do nothing today.
Supposed to be going to help cut out 5,000 butterflies in a bit. Joy.
It is sunny Bookie, but I dont have an outside washing line - too many spiders live on them
I do dry a lot in the conservatory if it's sunny, or on radiators if it's cold.
Good luck with the butterflies. Sounds interestingIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I couldn't manage without a tumble dryer, but then I don't have a washing line.
That's what I'm asking myself....could we manage, even if just for a while
We've had so many outgoings recently, I cant see how we could afford to get oneIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

spud - i can sympathise on the dryer front.... mine got broken somehow in the move... sensitive element obviously didn't like being punted around...
i was lucky as it was less than a year old they fixed it for free.... have got a D&G cover on it now... too scared it happens again.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Erin is better today, she slept all night, which is more than i did, i think i had one ear open all night for her getting up...... she's gone to club today so must be better.
Red - well done on the run. Sal - go on, y'know you want to!
I might run tonight, altho i was out on tuesday so won't worry if i don't.... altho now this silly cough of mine is giving me a wee pain behind my shoulder blade... i think i have pulled a muscle, maybe i should wait......?
Bookie - butterfly what?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
@ spud - Try sticking the washing on a clotheshorse, next to an open window the sun's shining through. I'm going to try that later, since our washing line's filthy and in a really stupid place but it's a shared house and I don't want to get into trouble for moving it.
Am starving, I only had bananas before work. I went and did a huge shop last night and forgot the flipping cereal! And I pretty much live off the stuff so that's not good. On the plus side, my cupboard is full of soup and noodles now. You can tell I'm a student, can't you? :rotfl:
Ok, I'm off home now and this time, I won't be falling asleep for the whole day like I did yesterday. Admittedly, I felt a bit ill though. Think about me on the way home though and hope I don't end up behind the bin wagon on my way up the hill again. I hate Thursdays, that always happens and then I have a real struggle trying not to stall.
Talk soon.

Ours must be at least 5 years old, maybe more. We fixed it 2 years ago when the belt broke, but I think heating elements, thermostats etc might be beyond us
Still, DH is having a go. It's sat slap bang in the middle of my living room as we speak :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Morning! I don't often pop into daily chat, but thought I would for a change today. I'm feeling a bit rubbish, sore throat and a bit groggy.
Also getting a bit nervous as I've agreed to go out for dinner on Tuesday with OH's parents, I've not met them yet
The weather here was beautiful earlier, but now it's a bit cloudy. Hopefully it will brighten up later.October make £10/day currently £11.020
