Lou you are always so kind to me, thank you xxxxxxxx
I have been wasting my morning but that is ok cos I don't feel that great and have to go to work in a minute.
I found a list of things I wanted to do this year..... I have done some of them but will have to think about how I am going to fit the rest in!
Must ring my Mum when I get back from work
see you all in a bit xxxxxxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
I only like this time of the month because i get paid tomorrow.
On the 2nd though my account will be empty again so it's only a few days of happy thoughts.
Oh yes and next week i get 2 root canal treatments and my Denplan fees go up from £16ish to £27ish
Right, where did i put those happy thoughts again??
You're allowed to have off days, just as long as you don't beat yourself up. And well done for having accomplished anything on your list. I've not even got around to doing the list yet. You've achieved so much on your debtbusting journey and there have been plenty of obstacles thrown in the way.
I must be a little dippit because you should be feeling really chuffed with yourself. I'm guessing there are more than a few people that read your thread who are as in awe of you as i am.
Well done on the CC too - just let us know when we can post the happy smilies to celebrate another one biting the dust. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0

I have to say this.
George, you must be one of the most lovely people who post on the boards. You are always helping newbies and have so much knowledge -all the letters, procedures and ways to deal with the banks. You never stop giving people advice. I know if I see a newbie post and you are there they are in safe hands.
And you have always been so kind to me, I can't believe how you spend the time reading my diary (or dairy!) and post such kindness.
I know there are lots of people who help the newbies and that is a huge part of makes MSE a wonderful place but you are the one who posts on my diary and I wanted to say a BIG thank you to you cos I do genuinely think you are wonderful

In other news, I have done something a bit mad. They offered a Masters course at work, there was a trial for us to see if we liked it, I can't remember if I said anything about it on here. Any how today I signed up. to do a full on Masters.
Its paid for by work - I am figuring that whilst I am there I may as well get something out of it and it will be useful in the future, I am hoping that I can get it done in 2 years (the max I will stay there unless the boss goes first) and if not once i am debt free I will finish it on my own at OU.
It is a bit bonkers tho. but hey ho got to take these chances when they present themselves.

You're very welcome.
You did mention the Masters at the start of the month, wasn't sure how long that was going to take though. Hopefully things will be less manic at work and allow you to possibly even enjoy teaching there. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
