I have only had a few hours sleep (last logged on at 3.12 am!) I was hoping daily chat had started and I could think on there for a bit.
I don't really want to discuss my reasons for my change of well everything really. Suffice to say the debts are now my one and only priority. No more half hearted challenges no more spending sprees. They are the way out and getting rid of them is the only way anything will change.
Current debts
cc1 1325 (interest free)
cc2 1256 (moving to interest free)
loan 12740 ( 7.9%)
total = 15,321
So far this week, two binbags and one carrier bag to charity, 1 bag of recycling, one box of stuff to e bay.
sold two books on Amazon and I think I have made about 23 pounds, also have 20 pounds to with draw from b*ngo. both will go on the CC.
Plans for today
1. have to got out with family
2. truthfully sleep since by then I will be shattered.
3. 27 fling
4. pay Avon
5. put away "wooden" stuff in the loft
6. e mail animal rescue place to see if they can collect cages?
7. put summer clothes box in the loft (what summer?)
thats all for now.

Sounds as though a lot of thinking has been going on. Whatever has prompted this, don't forget to allow yourself a bit of breathing room if needed.
Hoping it all goes well for you,
Hx0 -
Good luck with this Buffy.
Just try to allow yourself to relax from time to time - we all need a break from the debt and you shouldn't feel guilty or beat yourself up for doing so.
Hope you're okay.

Hi Buffy,
I can empathise totally with the few hours sleep thing, and wishing someone was around to "pour out" to, I've had quite a few of these recently. :heartsmil
Likewise with the challenges n things - I too am guilty of doing that... and it's only natural when you want something so much, you fling yourself into everything with a vengence, then suddenly feel totally overwhelmed keeping up with it all ... then the guilt starts - online & offline ... it becomes a neverending circle.
You can only do your best, with what you've got, at any given time. As hard as it is sometimes, you need to do what is right for you - not others, and they will be the first ones to tell you that ! Like you, I have a tendency to swing from one extreme to the other, then beat myself up about it... it doesnt work or help
It takes courage to admit something is not working and to change course, but hey .... you wouldnt have known if you hadnt tried - and that's one step better than most people, they're too afraid to try.
Do what you have to do gal, but do keep some time for yourself, everyone needs downtime - and leave a little something in the kitty for yourself ... even if it's just a weekly "special coffee" morning, 1 book, a meal treat (ie cook something "special"), whatever it is that will make you feel good and is "easy" to include in the budget.
Take it easy :heartsmil

Hi Buffy
Just wanted to pop in to say Happy New Diary!! Hope you're not too tired today. Can I just ask what a '27 fling' is? Based on what is in my head, I'm thinking I could do with one too
GwenxThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
Happy New Diary Buffy! *Subcribes*
Hope all is okay. Sounds like you have been making decisions. Don't forget about taking care of you too!
Now - let's see those totals come down!
