Oh wow, what a lovely bunch of people you all are to give me such a great start to my diary!
Thank you so much!
I couldn't log on to online banking so haven't done any moving around. did do a lot of tidying tho and have a serious amount of e baying to do. (could someone nag me about that please cos otherwise I shall end up an old lady crushed by my e bay pile)
I got a piddling refund for my driving lessons, going to see if I can pursue it via my Credit card. I just don't think 342 pounds as a refund for 19 hours of driving lessons when I paid 835 pounds for 30 is really very fair.
Tomorrow's plan (if I feel better - had a lovely day at a friends house today, love her kids they are so funny! but then literally walked through my front door and felt horrible sick hot dizzy - its passing now but it was very odd)
1. must go gift shopping. - must make a list plus buy the stuff I need for work.
2. Must ring Halifax to do balance transfer
2. water tests on the fish tanks. boring. but important.
3. depending on amount of shopping and time must visit friend's mum.
4. then once home pack up school stuff and finish shelf sorting and conservatory tidying
5. wrap parcels for sister.
Must go and do bingo ness.
see you later and thank you again for such kind words xxxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -

1. have to got out with family did and enjoyed it which is suprising
2. truthfully sleep since by then I will be shattered. I didn't !
3. 27 fling did and very liberating it was too - although Gwen version is proabably far more fun!!
4. pay Avon oops
5. put away "wooden" stuff in the loft done
6. e mail animal rescue place to see if they can collect cages? oops
7. put summer clothes box in the loft (what summer?) done
thats all for now.

Oh No! Total nightmare!!!!!! Will you ring the shop tomorrow hun?But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I will ring tomorrow yes, fingers crossed!
Must try on my dresses too - see if anything else can go to the charity shop. In fact I might do a 27 fling before I go out so I get rid of more stuff.

Not sure what the problem was with the driving lessons Buffy, but you may need to argue your case if you weren't getting what you paid for.
835 paid for
30 hours
=27.833 per hour
You got 19 hours = 19 * 27.833 = 528.827
835 - 528.827 = 306.173 (for the 11 lessons you didn't get)
342 offerred
306.173 'due'
35.827 'compensation'
Hope it was nothing too bad that you feel you should get more compensation. Is it just due to them not completing the course and the hassle involved with starting again? After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Oh, Sorry George, I did 11 hours and didn't have 19 hours (its the other way round ) my post is not very clear.

So you're due back 528.83 and they're only offering 342?
Almost 187 short?
Have at 'em Buffy.
See how they like the Trading Standards and OFT on their case. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
