  • Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your kind words, so comforting to me.

moneymakestheworldgoround, thank you. Your post made a lot of sense to me. I think the sudden increase of money made me spend again too, but spend too much!

I think I can control myself again as I am going back on nights in 2 weeks which means I get my full hours again and I can't go shopping after my shift. I can start saving for a baby, which hopefully won't take much longer to happen. Our wedding is all paid for in full, and thats only 7 weeks away!

jwil, it is nice to hear of other survivors. My partner was told if he had left it much longer, just a few more weeks, it would have spread to his lymph nodes...so I'm glad someone was looking over us in that respect!

I'm feeling a lot better now, thanks everyone.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hi I also like to spend money when i'm bored but I discovered entering competitions a few months back and now I don't have time to buy things because any spare time is spent entering competitions. Head over to the comps board I have won nearly £4,000 worth of stuff since February. Their are some really nice people over in the comps board and you can win such great stuff. Look forward to seeing you over their!!
  • I never win competitions so it might be a good idea to enter a lot and surely I might win something! Cheers minnie

I always thought I was the kind of person to never win anything then I saw how much others were winning so I gave it a go. I realised I never won anything before because I never entered anything. It really gets addictive and you never know what you are going to win lots of prizes just turn up. I enter about 100 a day it fills my time when i'm bored i'd only be bidding on things on ebay otherwise. Good luck hope you win lots xx
