Wrong, they have a box around the wording in Opera, obviously indicating a missing image, if I right click on that it clearly states " image properties ".

    But of course, no image.

Well I'm not familiar with Opera, but if it shows a box to indicate a missing image, it seems that it knows there is a picture there but it cannot display it for some reason. This would seem obvious to me that it's a fault with Opera, not the website. It means Opera isn't technically advanced enough to display the image. So it sounds like it's Opera that hasn't been fully tested, not that there's any fault with the website. Perhaps you ought to upgrade to a modern browser ;)

Firefox doesn't show any such boxes, it just shows the words and you would have no idea that there were meant to be pictures there if you didn't know about them.

Yeah right, would that be like IE8:rotfl:, pass me a bucket, no thank you.

I will stick with my " outdated " Firefox and Opera " thank you.

The fault is with the site coding, slap happy lack of attention to testing all formats.

Actually, I only use IE at work. I gave up on it at home ages ago because the incessant script errors were driving me mad. At home I use Firefox. I have noticed before though that some websites and some applications are only compatible with IW. I wouldn't call them "bad" sites though, it's just that they tailor everything to fit IE as it is the browser most people use.
