Has anybody got any good experiences with using an offsite/online backup website?
Thanks,

Is this for company or personal use? If this is for personal use, I guess the best backup is to optical disc (CD or DVD) or to those external USB hard drives. Make two copies, one leave it at the office and the other bring it back home.0

I just use the ftp space my ISP gives me as part of the package. I also upload to my .net web hosts.
Anything sensative is zipped (with a password) then encrypted with two 256-bit algorithms. This'll won't be anything highly sensative though (bank details, passport details etc..). Just things like my CV, Address Book etc...
Works without a problem. I use an app called SyncBackSE to do all my backing up. I think you have to use the licensed (£8) version in order to upload to an ftp."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

I'm thinking about company use. I know I'll have to pay a subscription to back up a lot of data but there are so many people offering the service.
