Deleting A Thread.

How can I delete a thread I started on MSE?

You can't: only an administrator can do that. (You would otherwise have the power to delete other people's postings contained within it.)

Easiest way would be to click on the "Abuse?" button and then enter your request that the thread be excised.

Alternatively you could post something outrageously obscene, casting aspersions on the parentage, integrity and sexual practices of Martin Lewis, his moderators and everybody who had posted to the thread itself.

That should do it.
