Money Saving Property Claims by Doing It Yourself

Options
Hi Guys, I just thought I'd let you know I am a builder who has just refurbished a fire damaged property with a claims consultant working on behalf of the policyholder, the P/H wanted us to carry out the reinstatement works, which we completed in seven days and got paid for the job within one week. Brilliant!

Rainbow were appointed for the cleaning of the contents, but the claims consultant overturned Rainbows costs to enable the policyholder to do the cleaning herself for £2,000.00. Rainbow told the p/H nothing but lies and on returning her contents things were missing and damaged, they cleaned the bed and damaged it on return, patt tested the electrical items and passed them, the P/H then acquired an independent patt tester who failed the electrical contents. The P/H has now been paid for cleaning her own contents on top of the £2,000.00. :money: the reason being that Rainbow did not clean her contents as promised.

Restoration companies cost the insurance industry a fortune:eek:

So I say If you want a job done properly.....Do it yourself! :j
