You're right there, Glowgirl! If it's not bad enough being made to wear a nylon overall, sit under a striplight opposite a huge mirror for hours on end answering inane questions and listening to crappy chart music you also have to face the indignity of horrible "Jennifer Aniston" layers, flat-to-your head straightening irons or a psychiatric ward fringe that gets bushier and bushier as soon as you leave the salon.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have curly hair too. Luckily I have found a hairdresser who has similar hair and understands mine well. :) -in fact seeing her this week- I love having curly hair now :) (just don't feel that way in winter when wetting it daily is less exciting).

I'll think about the dylon. I'm also thinking about splattering the rest of it with bleach. I'm a big fan of sticking/sewing things on to hide damage, but don't want that for this dress. :)
  • I've added up the money I've spent on clothes/shoes/accessories/toiletries this month and it's horrific. I am so mad at myself for going so wild! I blame the autumn/winter season. But anyway, I realised a while ago I was spending beyond my means and couldn't maintain it, so took sensible measures to sort out my debt. I'm doing a lot better but fashion is the area I fall down on. So, I've decided to keep an online spending diary, in blog format. I'll mix it with fashion bits, like an extended version of my posts here!

If any of you would like to read it or come along and comment, I will happily give out the link (in a PM, don't think it's allowed on the boards) when it's up and running. :)

I'd love the link when you're all started please GrammarGirl :) Will it include pics? Your outfits always sound gorgeous!

Didn't get a chance to post earlier but I'm currently in pjs - mint green bottoms with snowflakes on and a white vest with "It's cold outside but it's warm in bed..." on.

I'm stressing slightly about what to pack for a two day trip to Head Office for a celebration/networking event for a project I've been running part of at work. I've got one outfit sorted but am stuck on the other - don't want to be too smart, don't want to be too casual  Gah, I'll go and stare aimlessly at the contents of my wardrobe for a while, see if anything jumps out at me.

Ah, gotta love a bit of Wham in the morning!

I'm in work today so here is my outfit:

    - Pale pink scoop neck jumper (Topshop via sister)
    - Black flower corsage pinned to jumper (Topshop)
    - Black pleated skirt with print of pink sunglasses, bags and shoes (H&M via sister)
    - Black Mary Jane style shoes (Marks and Spencer, my other ones died)
    - Electric blue trench coat (New Look, worn to come into work)
    - Brown leather handbag
    - Usual jewellery

Perfume is Gwen Stefani L (nearly used up now though!) and nail polish is Nails Inc South Molton Street.

Probably here til five or half past, then home to work out and job hunt.

Hope everyone's having a good day!
