  • Morning!

Oh I was wondering that about Nectar too! It's a mystery to me. I seem to hand over my card all the time but have nothing to show for it.

I am not dressed yet (I am such a lazy bones) but I will be wearing:
    - dark blue skinny jeans
    - warehouse dark red and blue tunic (recent purchase from ebay)
    - swallow necklace
    - sparkly diamond type earrings
    - silver bangles
    - black suede pixie boot things

I am going to Brighton for the night with my little man so getting dressed is a must! Ooh and it's double the fun because I get to choose what he wears too - he has much nicer clothes than me, boo hoo!

    Take care everyone.

DB - some people are such t*ssers aren't they?

Well change of plan here. Snow's put paid to our girlie day out so we're having a pub lunch instead followed by a film and wine. Should be fun!

    My outfit is:

Kate Moss at TopShop black and white polka dot puddy-bow blouse (TopShop)
Acid wash high waisted skinny jeans (Market)
Black longline Topshop cardi (from last night's jumble)
Edwardian lady lace-up boots (Chazza shop)
    Silver bangles and rings (India)
Lattice hoop earrings with coin trim (Chazza shop)
....and I'll pop my Welsh Tweed cape and angora beret over the top when I leave.

I've blow-dried my hair today with a centre parting and I think I can see why several of the local nutters keep singing Cher songs at me.....:o

Morning all, this thread moves so fast - I love it!

My dad has rang me and reminded me I have a big box of clothes at his I meant to ebay a while ago, but forgot about. So i'll be calling round tonight and putting more on. I think these are better quality things too. :)

I love my Big Fat Gypsy Wedding last night. How awful that somewhere could just cancel someones big day three days before. If they did that because of someones religion etc there would be hell on.

Not dressed yet, I feel pretty rough so might just slob around and then dress myself up nicely.

Oooh i'm going to ikea tomorrow! My favourite thing (after clothes shopping)

    Goan- have a fun lunch!

Tsabo- I love/hate ikea, it stresses me out at weekends but is tolerable/enjoyable during the week!

I'm now impatiently installing the music software that came with my phone, it's only taken me six days to get round to it lol.
  • I am an ikea virgin :( I think I need to change this sometime soon!

Just checked out your blog Goan and i'm in love with your house! Everything is so lovely and perfect, i'm so jealous. We've just moved and my house is very white and modern, i'm trying to add more kitsch but not enough as i'd like.
My dad deals in retro and antiques and some pieces in your house are what i've been trained to look for at jumbles and car boots since about the age of four. :)

Ooh there was pet chat! We've just got a three year old Scottie Dog. He's such a gentleman, everyone stops to say how handsome he is. :) He's got a lovely red collar. I love wearing my silver/grey mac when I walk him and I feel very 1930s.
  • oh moonbabe, ikea is fab, i practically furnished my entire flat from one big trip there when i moved in! i love it, but as im not in need of any more furniture atm, it's probably too far to go just for a wander..

Tsabo- Scotties are so cute, bet you look fab walking him. A white modern interior is perfect for displaying mad bits of kitsch so get collecting, you've got a great advantage with your Dad being so knowledgable. The gypsy programme was a real eye-opener, I hate prejudice in any form although, as Lost mentioned, some of those Romany folk were just as guilty.

Daisy, just received a beautiful card from you, that was so kind!

Moonbabe - I can't bear Ikea, whenever you see something you like (fabric, in my case) they NEVER have it in stock.
