Whilst deciding on my nail colour for today, I've come accross 2 x Nails Inc polishes and a Rimmel one...Elizabeth Street and Coral (which was free with InStyle magazine) by Nails Inc, and Rose Libertine. All used once, I just dont get on with the formulas.
If anyone fancies them, I am happy to send manicure fairies on a flight next week, just PM.0 -
Oh I wanted to watch that, and Masterchef. Instead it was off to the pub for the most tedious football match I've had the displeasure of sitting through. At least we won though.
Anyway, good morning
Currently sitting in bed with my dressing gown on and a towel on my head but I've already sorted today's outfit. It needs to be smartish and flat-shoed as I'm running a couple of training courses for the volunteers at work. Quite nervous about them, eek!
Black tunic - ancient, but of course from Dotty P
Grey cardi - Monsoon
Grey tights (if they fit! If not, black tights) - M&S
Cream and black patent leather quilted pumps - New Look
Various jewellery, probably including a big half crown necklace from my Grandma's jewellery box
Hope everyone has a good day. I probably won't be around much - busy day at work ahead of me and then I'm out for dinner and the theatre this evening.0 -
i only have one pair of jeggings that are going a bit loose round the knees but cant find an suitable to replace them I dont want the ones that look like jeans....I have 5 pairs of black leggings though and wear these instead of or over tights depending on the weather its silly some of them are thinner than tights but they make me feel more secure than tights plus I like the fact they have a soft waistband as some tights feel like they are cutting me in 2 lol...I cant wait for spring so I can wear leggings with pumps....**"Yesterday is gone. No snow here, goan, but it did take me a good 15mins to scrape the frozen rain off my windscreen :S
retro - i always seem to manage weird dreams too :S quite often nightmares and wake up screaming though
i'm *almost* feeling left out of the jeggings club, but not quite..i don't think i'd ever make a jeggings convert..
vicki, i'm sure that the lip isn't that noticeable to anyone else..
and i'm not sure why i still talk to him either, all he does is take advantage of the fact i care about him enough to want to help him..i asked him round for tea last night, to try and help out as i know he can't afford to pay for food shopping..and he just never showed up, which annoyed me slightly :S im concerned about him as his wages go down next month, and he doesn't seem to be doing anything to compensate (bearing in mind he can't manage on his current salary as it is?!)..i'm contemplating posting on the DFW board to try and get some advice as to the best ways to help him realise that he needs to think about this..but when he treats me like he is doing at the moment, and just has a go at me for "going on at him about the situation", part of me wonders why i bother - you can't help someone who doesn't think they need help..GRRRR!
^^ tld you i was grumpy this morning - sorry :S
um, with the floral cardi (new look), i'm wearing a brown dress from h&m, pink pearly headband (h&m), and a pair of green boots i found in the wardrobe the other day and had forgotten about (think they are also new look)..0 -
daisy, i would take u up on the lovely nail polish offer, but i've never managed to do proper manicure nails
is there a knack to it?? 0 -
I'm not the person to ask haha, I generally go for one colour only and it's often a mess

Pf you may have to let him make his own mistakes however far that gets it might be the only way he will wake up and realise he has a problem...to be honest the more you help him the more hes getting away with the current situation and not realising he has a problem...know what I mean? Tough love and all that.**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0
