My Mum just bought me up a blackcurrant lemsip (work of the devil, hate the stuff) and I'm just flicking through blogs and feeling sorry for myself ;)

Hoping I'm feeling better tomorrow; sleep would help! As I have two cakes to make and decorate.

haha, i've only ever been once Caroline, but i thought it was great! Trouble is, the only friends i can ever persuade to go with me, also run guides (in a diff town to me), and the cheapo days in our local bingo hall are either monday or weds, which is when the guides run..which really only leaves us school holidays when we can go, as most of my friends think it's just for old ladies lol..i managed to get the hang of it last time, and won £5, which meant the night only cost me a fiver..

    The starry ones??

Can't stand those lemsips myself, think they make you better by the mere thought of them..ie "i'd better feel better or i may be forced to have one of those!"

Yep, the starry ones. I'm looking forward to doing it, but worry it'll wear me out! Plus my inner perfectionist is already giving me major grief :o

    Yes,
my Mum often threatens me with a lemsip if I'm not resting when ill or something hah

Daisy - hope you feel better for doing the cakes tomorrow, there's nothing worse than having a task on and being all bunged up and miserable.
PF - enjoy the gym (wish I could afford it again) and don't be sad, you deserve so much better.

I'm feeling a bit down myself, had a snooze and got up and redressed in lovely electric blues, then went to take parcels to the PO and because I was carrying a huge box and couldn't see, fell down the concrete stairs outside my flat, hurt my ankle, dropped everything on the ground, ruined my nice blue tights, left half the skin of my right leg inside said tights, and am now sporting fetching bloody scars and bruises on my knees and palm of my hand as well as having scuffed up my mary-jane DMs something rotten. DH was in the car waiting for me and didn't even notice I had fallen as he was busy picking fluff off his jumper!! although to his credit he did come and help once he figured out that me lying on the ground trying not to cry might be an indication something was wrong.

Especially upset because my outfit was actually quite nice (even DH said I looked smart, which is high praise indeed) and now I'm lying on the sofa with bloody legs covered in aloe vera gel - and it is not a good look! :rotfl: Oh well, you have to laugh. PO tomorrow, I hope all my buyers are understanding folks.

seems like today is one of those days for everyone :(
  • Thats not good Magpye. Hope you aren't in too much pain. I'm wearing electric blue today as well. Good choice! Make sure you get hubby looking after you while you rest on the sofa. I'm sure your buyers can easily wait a day.

Have just had a clear through my jewellery drawer and there are a few pieces that I no longer need/use. I'm offering them on my blog so pop along and see if you want any.
