DB hope it all goes ok honey xxx

    Sharona, that's always complicated :/

And Tea, I always follow my heart, but that's the less practical option and always much easier to get hurt :( you've got to weigh up the situation I guess..
  • Good Morning Everyone,

Just a very quick one as I am running a bit behind today. Really just wanted to come on and wish you all the best today Daisy, I'll be thinking of you and I hope it goes okay.

Will catch up properly after work.

    Nic x
  • Where did the weekend go!?

Hope everything goes ok at the docs DB. I haven't had a chance to catch up with everyone - I'm going to busy today!

Good news - neice came off the ventilator yesterday and is doing well. They still aren't sure why it happened though, just putting it down to a virus.

We had a great weekend. Lazy day on Saturday with pub lunch. Yesterday hubby took boys to the cinema and I went shopping and got some fab stuff.

I bought a handbag (£35 down to £10) and a scarf from Top Shop with my voucher from DB, two tops from TX Maxx, t shirt from New Look and tights and vests from Primark. Bought hubby some jumpers and DS2 some t shirts from H&M. Nothing for DS1 because he doesn't like anyone choosing for him.

I'll update blog later. half term this week so I might not get a minute to myself.

Thanks PF and Nic, really appreciate it.

Outfit changed somewhat, black tights swapped for green. Long sleeve swapped for normal black tee, and cardi swapped for grey one!

*eta* thanks Caroline, and that is fantastic news about your niece!
  • Hope it goes well DB will be thinking of you.xx

    Caroline, fantastic news.

Daisybella, I hope today goes well.

I'm freezing. I just don't understand it. Before I got ill I never felt the cold...I was the type to go skinny dipping on New years day. Nowadays I can't stand the heat at all, nor it seems the cold. I've run DH to station and fed everyone and have called dog dog to snuggle up to me on one side, the cats on the other side and I have two trassuits and a cashmere jumper on.

I have so much to do and I'm to cold to do it all! But, as the day won't wait....I'm planning on a pair of tights under jeggings, velst, and tunic jumper with short sleeve swing cardigan over the top.

Also: does anyone know what sizes the larger kids clothes equate too in supermarkets? I was looking at the size 13-14 years t shirts in tesco and think they look like a good 12-14 ish? I used to go clubbing in a pjtop I had as a ten year old (ok, so it was a crop top as an adult but it was kinda-cool). My sister and s-i-l can easily wear kids clothses, sil is a tiny size 6/8..my sister a more normal height 8/10...

My weight loss has stalled but I've decided to raw-juice for a day or so...its delicious, but of course not very warming.

Ok I have to go soon, but quicky, lost... kids clothes generally a 13-14 fits me at a size 10, though like adult clothes some will fit bigger and some will fit smaller,
also lengths can be insane! I've had kids jeans fit better/longer than adult ones (I have 35 inch inside leg, for reference)

Yum to raw juice, is it bad I'm kinda jealous, I would not get away with that :o

Thanks DB...thats crazy. I tried designer kids jeans once, and couldn't get length right (I lso have hips, I was rally keeping my sister company shopping). My inside leg is only about 31/2 inches!

Hmm, so smaller than they look though...oh well, long time till I'm a ten again!:o
