Same here. Cannot bear people touching my hair
I have a lovely hairdresser who comes to the house, doesn't annoy me with pointless small talk and only charges a fiver for a dry cut. (I always give her a tenner though, £5 is far far too cheap)
A messy bob would look lovely on you daisy. I'd be a bit wary of a pixie cut - might look a bit too severe?0 -
lir - sorry to hear about the nasty foot problems
Did you have a good time otherwise? I know if your feet are hurting then that's probably difficult but hopefully some fun was had.

I realised at the weekend that I don't own most things that are considered wardrobe essentials. Where the hell has all my stuff gone?!

Fabulous, thanks. It was a great time..:) Sore feet were annoying, but I'm a lot less in pain than hve been in recent yers with my medical condition, so sort of minor in comparison....just would have liked to walk more and faster....I think Imight have to look at something like uggs? Maybe trainers?0 -
Home hairdresser is definately the way forward £5 for a trim, £15 for a restyle and £30 for full colour. I am rubbish at the forced 'going anywhere nice on your holidays' chat you seem to get in the hairdressers, maybe I have had a bad experience.
Am having mine cut soon, has been 3 months since I last had it done and it just doesnt seem to be growing anymore! Just splitting at the ends!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -

Daisy, a short cut would look fab on you, please think carefully about a bob unless you go really edgy they can look, well, frumpy, I like you hair longer btw:)

retro - aw that sounds like a really nasty eaction, hope you feel better soon
Daisy - I think a pixie cut would look gorgeous on you, you've got very beautiful strong facial features
lostinrates - aw I hope the swelling didn't ruin the whole weekend
re haircuts - I get mine done at the local college, costs £22 to have it coloured, cut and blowdried, and I have them straighten it for me which takes hours because I have such thick curly hair, I tell them it's good practice. I can't afford to have it done it a proper salon, costs upwards of £60! I really don't mind having i done at the college because the tutors check and double check everything the students do. I used to have it cut at the college for £10 and then dye it myself, but for the extra few quid I just get them to do it for me, saves my boyf having to help me do the back!*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
I haven't had my hair cut properly for ages, I keep telling myself that I am growing it longer (which i am, as i prefer long hair), but sometimes it does get boring! I tend to trim the ends and any splits (usually quite a few as I'm awful at remembering heat-protect spray when straightening!) every week or so, so it's gradually getting there, but a proper style may be nice soon..0

All this talk of haircuts, I think I forgot to say I had mine done last week. Last time I went brunette, first time ever. I quite liked it, b family decreed it didn't suit as well as ''blondish''. This time had a return to sort of mouse, with some copper put through. Hard to decribe end result, stripey, choclate, mouse, blonde and copper. I think i like it, DH likes it..says its still a bit too dark though, my mother and father hate it.0
