Morning all!
Havent been on all weekend as I feel awful.....as you know dyed my hair on Friday all well went out Sat night (had a fab night!)...woke up Sunday morning with a rash all over the inside of my right arm from the wrist to the elbow wondered what the hell I did the night before to get a rash?!?! (lol) it gradually got worse and worse til it was killing me....then realised that I had gotten hair dye on my arm (only a little bit) but didnt know it was there til I went to wash the dye off so guess I must have gotten some sort of allergic reaction to the dye.....a benedryl tablet and a lot of cream later I managed to get some sleep last night...Feel awful today sick and dizzy dont know if I have a bug or its related (the rash has gone down)...stupid dye is awful anyways keeps coming off on everything I wear (even though I rinsed til the water was clear)...I must add I did do the skin test 48 hours before I dyed so thought all was ok- def not using this brand again.....anyway that was a rant! lol
Today outfit:
Pink and cream patterned skirt with pink sash tie- Matalan
black leggings
black v neck 3/4 puff sleeve jumper- Primark
black cami under

Hope everyone is well...I want to go back to bed- waah**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -
Definitely sounds like some kind of allergic reaction RetroBluebell although strange if you did a patch test first - hope you are feeling better soon.
I really can't be bothered today, am so tired after a busy weekend. It's cold and snowing here and I just can't get into my work today. Why do Mondays have to come around so quickly
Was late getting up this morning as accidently turned my alarm off instead of snoozing it so it was a bit of a rush to get ready this morning. Todays outfit is pretty boring (even for me)
* Black top with white fake shirt effect
* Black trousers
* Black socks
* Black slip ons with a small wedge heel.
Just my wedding and engagement ring as jewellery.
Hope everyone has a good dayOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Eek, retro, that sounds horrible and scary
Shazza, hate those kind of days, hope it improves
Just remembered I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, first time in two years.
Pondering what to have done, other than get as much chopped off as possible! Probably a shoulder length messy bob type style as at the moment it comes to half way down my back and I haven't the arm strength to deal with it
Any suggestions welcome.
I'd love a pixie cut, but my hairdresser has always refused.0 -
Thanks Shazza- I id the patch test on my ear though an my hair and scalp are fine so maybe Im pyschologically making myself worse? lol
I too get up far too late (well late for me is 7am due to the kids lol) and rush around like a mad woman- I have to la out my complete outfit the night before (including jewelery) otherwise I would be in jeans and a tshirt every day! lol**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -
Daisy thank you hun- I am jealous I havent had my hair cut in yonks! Cant afford my normal hairdresser anymore since I stopped work (35 for a cut an blow dry anyone?) and Im a funny so and so cant just let anyone get to my hair! lol So have bee trimming it myself at home...
I think a pixie cut would look fab on you- you have the right shaped face for it**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -
I hate having my hair cut! My Dad's paying for this after getting sick of my "I cant afford it" protests. I cant stand anyone playing with my hair or crowding me, so I do feel bad for the poor hairdresser, but she is lovely and I go to her house for it, so its a bit more relaxed!0

I think a messy shoulder length bob would look amazing on you, Daisy. As you always wear your hair up on photos you could definately afford to lose some of the length. I'm sure I saw an old photo of you on Facebook with a fringe which looked super cute, too.
Retro, sorry to hear of the allergy. It seems weird that you didn't get a reaction following the patch test. Glad the night out was a success, though.
Sharon and PirateFairy - hope you both feel happier soon. It's such a miserable morning. Mind you, I've got a good reason to smile, I'm off to Goa on 1st April, booked it last night....maxi dresses, sunglasses, bikinis, gladiators for a whole month!0 -
I think a bob is the shortest my hairdresser will let me go, she is very overly cautious and eager to please. I'd love to be able to wear my hair down. Currently it is always tied back due to not being able to manage the hairdryer and straightners required to stop major afro style!
I think it shall remain a suprise to both myself and everyone else as to what I end up with
I've been re-considering a fringe though.
Oh Goan, I am so envious of your travels, a whole month?! Pack me in your suitcase?!0 -
Goan pack me in your suitcase please? Im only little and I wont be a pick of bother**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0
