morning all, hope you managed a nice weekend..we have woken up to flood warnings today now that the snow is all gone, oh the fun all the main carparks in the town are now closed, as a combination of the explosion aftermath, and the flood warnings :S

today's outfit is a mint green floral print dress from h&m, 29.99
long grey shrug cardi, matalan 12.00 but a present from my mum
long grey flat boots (again) peacocks, 30.00
blue polka dot coat from white stuff, 59.00
panda hat, river island, xmas present, 12.99 (i think)

Happy Monday all!

I didn't post over the weekend, but did take a pic of my outfit on Saturday, is on my blog (will add link to my profile!) I spent my first clothing spend on Friday, got a couple of berets in the primark sale - quid each!

So anyway, todays outfit:

Black trust evans boots
Leggings you can't see!
grey marl long skirt
pinky/purple square neck 3/4 sleeve t shirt
grey waistcoat
silver bangle
brand new, handmade glass fused pendant - I'm so so proud of this! It's also on my blog!

Ok, I got a total bargain on shoes! Some patent black flats with jewel detail, £3 down from £20 in New Look! Not the heels I was lusting after, but more practical/safe for my current needs and super pretty :T

Work again today... lates all week though so a week of lie-ins for me - yay!!

Today's scruffy selection is:

Black Newcastle Falcons Rugby shirt (£47.88 from club website)
Black cotton trousers (£8, Rogers &Rogers at Matalan Leicester)
Red socks with black trim and 'Angel in Training' print (£1.50 for 2 pairs, Primark Coventry)
Black furry-lined boots (£5, Primark Birmingham)

No make-up or jewellery as usual but today's perfume is Ted Baker W.

Daisybella, I'm sorry it was tough I haven't even made my appt for this week, it should be tomorrow but I'm just flapping: will opt for wednesday I think.

I'm going to get the shoes I've decided, than you for the help, I will wait a few weeks though I think. I'll get a bit of wear out of them....I don't think they'll date too quickly, the only problem is the DH height issue! Maybe he should try some cuban heels for evening wear? Sertiously, for our families at five feet five inches dh and I are veritable giants, (my dad is tall, my mother is tiny, neither of DH's parents were over five feet!) my best friend is 5'2, and it was even worse when we lived in italy,I often felt like the jolly green giant! .

Happy New Year, gang!!!

I'm back, still slightly jet-lagged and about to start catching up on the gossip and outfits I've missed over the past three weeks - great to see so many new additions to our happy team.

After seeing a photo of Manchester in "The Hindu" - Tamil Nadu's English language newspaper - I was tempted to search out an internet cafe just so that I could post on MSE that I was sweating profusely in a vintage cotton maxi and flip flops but thought it may be a little cruel !

Today's outfit (also available in glorious technicolour on my blog):
Horse print bow blouse (present)
Black short sleeve sparkly cardi and cobalt blue suede shoeboots (Topshop sale buys from ages ago)
Customised black denim shorts (Jumble sale)
Black opaques
Vintage blue suede belt with silver bobble buckle (Jumble sale)
Silver jewellery (India)

Hair - piled up on top of head and speared with a silver dragon hair stick.
