Central heating - cleaner & rust inhibitor

Hello all,
I have been planning to put some central heating cleaner in the system, followed by a general inhibitor product. I was planning to drain the system, fill with cleaner in the header tank, run for a week, drain again and then add the inhibitor to the header tank.
Recently in Focus I saw a product ('fraid I can't remember its name) which enabled you to add the cleaner/inhibitor via a radiator (it recommended using a bathroom radiator, the sort you put your towels on.) You turn off the radiator, drain off a certain amount of water, add in the product and then turn on the radiator again. This is attractive to me because it means I don't have to go crawling around in the loft which I find rather difficult these days.
Has anyone used this product and have any comments, good or bad about its effectiveness?
TIA,
H.

I've used a cleaner like this , drained out some water and put it in the top of the radiator ( modern style with a screw in cap and bleed valve at the ends)

sentinel cleaner and inhibitor was it, thats exactly what was used on mine when i had my boiler swapped to a combi in february.
as you say put cleaner/sludge remover in, run for a week, then drain down and put the inhibitor in.
to be honest i would do it when it gets colder weather as your heating needs to be on to circulate around the rads/system etc.
it does work a treat, loads of crap and came out.0
