It works for me ive used it for years now as i always tended to get eaten alive. apparently Avon wont launch it as an insect repellant due to the high cost of all the laboratiry test that would be required to meet official guidelines so they rely on word of mouth. I found a report once where our very own Martin Lewis recomended it :-)

Do you just use a squirt here and there or do you need to cover yourself in the stuff for it to work?
Interesting what you say about lab testing ..... health and safety rears it head again! I can see their point though.

Didn't work for me in Italy - got bitten to death.

Then bought some 'OFF!' at the local Farmacia which was fab! :D

Normally 2 or 3 squirts per arm/leg/foot then spread it around, squirt on each palm and a quick wipe over face and neck does it for me (it's the pong that deters them). Really depends on how hungry the mozzies are - if any get through, squirt a bit more on.

Where are you going by the way - euro-mozzies are the wimps of the mozzie world...

I read somewhere that it works well against midges - so good for Scotland - but not for mosquitos - so not so good elsewhere.

A little Greek island called Symi, so yes, euro-mozzies. Going in Septmeber but we were there in June though and they did not seem like wimps then.

it works great on midges, only drawback is they stick to your skin so you end up covered in black blobs!
