I have seen a few posts where people say that Avon's Skin So Soft is a good insect repellant. Which actual product is this? I have just looked at their site and there are pages of Skin So Soft Products with several body washes, mousturisers, dry oil sprays
Can anyone point me to the right one please?

Dry oil squirty thing in a bluey/green container0

It has to be the original version which is in a green/blue bottle lable. Its suppose to be the smell which the mozzies hate.0

The one I have seen is in a white plastic spray bottle with a green label on it. Is that the correct dry oil spray? Thanks for your speedy replies. Can't have another holiday with the little blighters eating me alive!Thank you for this site :jNow OH and I are both retired, MSE is a Godsend0

There is something else that you can buy, because as i have found the blighters found a couple of gaps in my oil spreading while in Scotland.
Dont know what its called but its like an electronic zapper that you zap the bite with and it takes the sting/itching away. About 4.99 in Superdrug.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
It's this stuff http://www.alternativeinsectrepellent.co.uk/ (couldn't find it on the Avon site...)0

it's this one http://avonshop.co.uk/shop/product.asp?pf_id=33708&from=search&find_spec=skin%20so%20soft%20dry%20oil&pagenum=1 they recently changed the packaging, so it doesn't come in the bluey green bottle any more!0

It doesn't work, I tried it - but using Lynx Africa definitely helped.0

Only got some a couple of months ago (sis delivers it in plain packaging as she goes to the party nights occasionally). Citronella is the 'magic' indredient, some of the other Avon dry oils just contain citric acid which doesn't work (the white/green/blue works for me).0 -

Thanks very much all of you. I will get some ordered and give it a try. I have been told that a lot of farmers use it, especially at haymaking time.
Worth a try but I will also look at the stuff to zap bites with as well. Belt and braces job!Thank you for this site :jNow OH and I are both retired, MSE is a Godsend0
