try ticketmaster?
https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk
otherwise, try a blag from Clyde fm or win a competition from them?To be able under all circumstances to practice five things constitutes perfect virtue; these five things are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness and kindness.0 -
lola rose, Did you have any success? I tried at 10:00 yesterday on ticketmaster but they didn't seem to have any at all. The only ones I've seen elsewhere are £250+ does anyone know if any actually went on public sale?0

I just can't afford the £200+ ticket price
And I just missed a Radio 2 competition to win front row seats
I'll just have to be more 'on the ball' and actively seek out these competitions, It would be such a shame to miss out!0 -
I managed to get 2 tickets for Birmingham NEC - 3/12/06 for 60 quid each at 10.02am yesterday from Ticketmaster. I originally tried all the Wembley dates and they were sold out so luckily managed to get Birmingham - so yes they did go on public sale but you had to be damn quick BTW I can't wait!!Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0

Woa, I'd never risk buying tickets from ebay. I noted the Richard Ashcroft tickets are selling on there at the moment. I paid for tix via see tickets (was lucky to get advanced tix before they went on sale to the general public. However, advanced tix get posted out same time as as tickets booked once on sale to the general public). The show is only a couple of weeks away, and to be honest (from past experience of going to larger shows), I'm not expecting my ticket to arrive at my home till the day of the concert. So, what I'm getting at is: what happens if the person you buy your GM ticket off from ebay, doesn't get the ticket until the day of the show?? + on the larger shows such as GM or Elton John for instance, you maybe required to show proof of purchase, so buying a ticket from ebay isn't gonna be taken as proof of purchase. They started doing this kind of thing with Glastonbury festival to stop ticket touting.
I'm not convinced ebay is the way to go to be honest.0 -
i have never had tickets arrived that close to a concert date .
I bought tickets two weeks ago for Billy joels july concert .The tickets have arrived already . If you want tickets ebay is one option .0 -
