How will child maintainance affect my benefits?

Hi there. I have recently started getting a regular monthly payment from my ex for our 2 children. I am a single parent and work part time, so receive child/working tax credits and also a little housing/council tax benefit. I have noticed in the past that the renewal forms ask about child maintainance payments, so just wondered, as i now receive this will it reduce my benefits?

im not sure except for housing benefit - they no longer count child maintenance as income, and from october wont count child benefit either.

Housing benefit also apply a complete disregard to maintenance now.
In short, it wont have any effect. :D
