Creative mp3 and fm radio advice

My personal radio has just broken and I should like to replace it with a quality fm radio and mp3 player. I've done some research and decided that I'd like to go for either the Creative Muvo TX or Slim or Zen micro or Nano but I am confused as to what is the difference apart from the obvious hard disk storage. The radio reception quality is important and I cannot imagine I shall need thousands of songs recorded and I definitely don't need a camera.
Please advise if you can.
Thanks.

Hi,
I have Creative Nano Plus - 1GB model.
Holds about 300 MP3 songs, battery lasts 15+ hours, sound quality fine, controls easy, very small and portable.
FM radio also works fine - autotunes and stores all stations it can find.
Even records from line input, internal mic, or FM if you want it to!
Hope this helps.

Thanks. Yes that does help. I notice that Amazon are doing that one for less than £60 at the moment which seems a good price.0

I've got a Zen Micro and been very happy with it. I cannot really tell you how it compares to the other Creative products however you can pick up one for as litle as £79.99.0

Hi there
I have had a zen micro for over 1 year and now and my advice is - don't buy it for fm radio as the reception is often very poor . It is a great mp3 player though with crisp and clear sound . If you are in a built up area then radio reception isn't good . Go for the nano plus and you ( in theory ) will have the best of both worlds - bear in mind that 1gb holds approx 400 songs0 -
Thanks Zack. That is exactly the kind of advice I need.0

It varies depending on the location and the position of the ariel (I believe this is the headphone lead).
If you primary need is for the radio buy a dedicated personal radio as on the MP3 players these are usually a 'secondary' function.0
