scrappage v 2nd hand
We are going out this weekend to look at getting rid of our ten year old volvo (2nd family car) and look for something small like a toyota aygo/yaris which we can share with our eldest dd who is learning to drive. My question is should we do like we normaly do and look for a car about 18months old or go for scrappage against a new car?

It's up to you.
Firstly you'll need to ask the dealer if he can get delivery within 4 months.
If the answer is yes, then you have the option of going new. Under the scrappage scheme the car must be delivered within 4 months.0
