When i was pregnant, i got a voucher for a free baby basket with buts in from tesco if i bought a first size pk of huggies nappies. But i was in my local tesco (Burnley) and noticed they were now selling the boxes at £2.99 not the £9.99 like when i was pregnant, there was alsorts in the basket full pk wipes, full talc and few other bits. For £2.99 its well worth it

I think I read this was nation wide as the coupons inside are out of date but still a nice present. I love my gorgeous little girl0 -
Hi there,
what a nice idea. The best baby freebies I have received were the Bepanthen nappy cream, the Breastflo baby bottles (got two for some reason) and the Aptimil bear. The Cow & Gate cow was nice too.
The nappies are ok but looked a bit odd coz they didn't come shrink wrapped but you could use them in a nappy cake (there is a thread on here somewhere and they look really fab).
I would email any baby company you can think of, tell them you are after samples for your friend and see what they say. Often the direct approach works -as long as you do it before everyone does!:D"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
I think one of the nappy cakes would be a nice idea including the freebies you have collected. I think they are some youtube video to help you make your own.
When mums friend was pregnant with her twins i recieved good samples from
Hipp Baby club - http://www.hippbabyclub.co.uk/index.php
Huggies nappy vouchers- https://www.huggiesclub.co.uk/bump-on-board/Products/Offers/Offer-171
ELC is also good to sign up as the children recieved birthday cards and nursery ryhmes cds throughout the years . They also send you discount codes and vouchers. - http://www.elc.co.uk/bigbirthdayclub
There is also the emmas diary website you can sign up to but havent tried that myself. - Mums to be can collect a good bag from lloyds pharamcy. - http://www.emmasdiary.co.uk/register0 -
this is a great thread...i've been wanting to make a nappy cake for an expecting friend:D...managed to get a few bits and bobs but don't really know how to get the mum and baby freebies; most of these sites don't let me join because they're for pregnant women or mothers....can i just ask how people are registering on these sites?

Have a look at this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=101 - people on there are always making hampers and nappy cakes for new babies etc and they're really helpful xMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
