Getting :: http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com??

Whenever I try and open yahoomail.com on my laptop, I get the address as http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customise/links........................ on my address bar before it changes to the yahoo link
http://uk.mc556.mail.yahoo.com/mc/welcome?.gx=1&.tm=1250076915&.rand=cfsk

It looks like a redirecting site me me??
I do not know whether it is bad for my system.
I have scanned my laptop with Adaware, Spybot S&D, Malwarebites and removed the suggested files but it is still appearing.

Do I need to do anything about it?

Thanks for looking
I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T

  • have you uninstalled / reinstalled yahoo messenger recently?

    If so there are known issues with some versions of messenger not uninstalling cleanly. It leaves a few entries in your registry.

  • I was trying to find out it you had, as the uninstall process can leave some entries in your registry that can cause this issue
