I have eventually paid off my IVA. How long will it be before my credit rating improves?

As I understand it, the IVA will stay on your record for 6 years from the date it started so in theory, your credit rating should be back to relative normality within in another 12 months. I would predict you would still have problems obtaining credit after this though.0

Well done Val. Must be a huge relief.
We're about to sign up to one. Any tips on making it through?

Well done , as already said IVA stays on your file for 6 years form date it was agreed.
Once you have your completion certificate you need to get copies of your credit files and make sure any defualts are dated on or before date IVA was agreed so they all drop off same time.TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0
