Scared to claim £3000...

Hi all - newbie to posting but am a regular reader. I worked out that LloydsTSB have charged me £3000 in bank charges since 2001. I already have a £3000 overdraft with them and owe them about £4500 from a personal loan. I know that if I made a claim, and won that they would hopefully cancel out the overdraft. I am worried that they will then try to close my account and demand the outstanding amount from my loan at the same time which I cannot afford to pay. Especially as I have read reports about LloydsTSB recent losses. Has anyone had successes with LloydsTSB?

What LloydsTSB loss? I hope you aren't referring to the Berwick case? This was before the OFT test case plus there are rules in place which means that LloydsTSB will not close your account as a result of you reclaiming your charges.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

Also, the case between Berwick and LTSB back in 2007 was heard in a county court, not the High Court, so does not set a precedent.
