in Credit cards
Hi, ive recently found out about this site and ive found it incredibly useful and interesting.
Im sure these questions are very simple however ive never used a credit card before iand have been looking around and cant find out any information on how to actually make a balance transfer, or how to pay the monthly credit card re-payments, i understand that a direct debit can be set up using your current account and i assume this would be quite easy.
Ive already signed up for an egg 0% credit card, is it too late to make a balance transfer from this card to my current account? Do i have to phone up the companys and ask for it? Thankyou for your help! it would be much appreciated.

You can do BT's with most (but not all) credit cards.
You certainly can do it with Alliance & Leicester and Virgin (these are both administered by MBNA). You can't do it, for example, with Lloyds as they don't offer online access to credit cards unless you have a Lloyds current account.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
