Ebay vehicle status report - insurance theft
Hi
Dont know where else to ask this, I'm watching a cra on ebay that has come back as :
Police stolen Not recorded as stolen, by the police
Outstanding finance Not recorded as having outstanding finance
Insurance write-off Not recorded as a write-off
Insurance theft Recorded by an insurance company as a theft
Our records show that an insurance theft has been recorded. Contact the seller for more details
Security Not recorded on our security register
Plate transfer history Plate transfers recorded
Our records show that one or more number plate transfers has been recorded. The current plate was transferred to this vehicle on 07/02/2002. Contact the seller for more details
I'm not worried about the plate transfer but I am concerned about the theft - how can I check this? Auction ends soon, i have emailed seller for more info but wondered if there is anywhere I can find out more.

It may well be that the theft report relates to a car previously on the same private plate but not the vehicle up for sale.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
