Hi,
My partners daughter cant sign onto WLM on her computer but her friends can sign on using their login details.
She can sign on using her login on her friends computer.
Any ideas?i'm sure it must be something simple.
Cheers
Damian

Hope that means something as obviously no live messnger is this generations thermo nuclear war -the end of the world.0 -
Has the problem recently occurred? Has she ever been able to login to WLM on her computer? If it's a recent problem, you might want to try using ccleaner: it often solves many a problem such as this (it clears out any detritus and any problems with cached credentials such as with Messenger).0

Yeah its only happened in the past few days.I'll try that suggestion and report back.0

No good i'm afraid.Still not logging in.
She can log in on her sisters computer on the same wireless net and her sister can log onto her computer using her login.
The only combination that doesn't work is HER login on HER computer.0 -

Is she able to access and login to her Hotmail/Live account (emails) on her computer?
Also, perhaps re-create her account on her computer?0 -
Gave the incorrect error code earlier,it is in fact 81000306.0

Also, which version of Messenger? Latest version of Windows Live Messenger is (Build 2009 14.0.8064.206). Perhaps try updating to that. Might be sensible to remove entirely first the old version.0
