Attaching photos with Hotmail

Up until a week ago I could attach photos to Hotmail email by choosing photo from a dropdown menu when I went to add an attachment.

By attaching a photo in this way it would let me browse folders and upload lots of photos in one go and quickly. The compressed photos would appear in the email body without having to be downloaded individually.

Now when I come to attach them, the photo option has gone so I have to attach the full size file which takes much longer and I can only get a few photos on each email before I reach my limit. They cannot be viewed on my ipod because they are too big, don't show in the email body and each one has to be downloaded.

I realise I could zip them up to send them in one go in a folder but I dont want to do that, I want them in the email body as before.

I am using Windows Vista and haven't changed any settings. I have loads of photos to send and this is driving me crazy. The other day after days of this, it offered me the option to attach photos but then again the option disappeared again

How do I get it back to how is was last week?

I have looked for advice elsewhere and this seems to be a commen problem but not really found the solution yet.

Thanks for letting us know - I was wondering how to 'fix' this issue myself.


Oh well - I'm off to learn how to zip my files!

Its been back to normal for a while now, thank goodness.
