Help - Flies!

hope someone can help, we seem to have alot of flies in the house, especially around the windows/sills/frames. I am having to clean the windows everyday as they are leaving behind yellow/red/black dots, im assuming this is their poo?

The house is clean, i hoover and dust every week, clean the kitchen daily and do a quick clean everyday but i'm still getting these damn flies everywhere.

The windows frames are white so these spots are highly visible, they are even pooing on the glass.

Has anyone got any ideas on what i can do, as ive cleaned the windows twice already today.

It could be out of your control, but will probably sort itself out in time.

Flies lay eggs in many things, such as dead animals, pigeons, rats or waste in dustbins. It's likely they have laid in something nearby. If it's hot weather this will quickly produce lots of maggots which will cast very quickly into their larva form and then into flies.

The result is a spell where you seem to be overrun with them, but it shouldn't last long as they will die off (unless there's something else they can lay their eggs on).

Check your bin. Makes sure all waste food is bagged up tight, as the smallest gap and they will find their way in and lay.

If that's not the problem, it's a neighbours bin or there was a carcass nearby.
