Have I got balanced or unbalanced?

From reading other posts, it seems I need taps suitable for high pressure (mains cold feed, hot water from WB Greenstar 35HE plus combi boiler).

Man from water dept came out to test pressure a couple of years back when my electric shower developed a problem and Triton insisted it was because I had low pressure.....I don't, the pressure reading was 6.5, so I know the pressure is high rather than low.

However I have no idea if I need to look at ones for balanced or unbalanced supplies. How would I find out?

Years ago you just bought a tap, stuck it on and it worked.

you have a balanced supply as both your hot and cold are almost equal pressures
