i got a car loan out jan last year and on feb i cancelled the ppi and was told a new payment would come out at end of feb, but never did,so i contacted the finance company and they told me they would sort it and the payment would come out at the end of march but it never did or the month after that and so on. i have contacted the company several times. i have since found out that the balance is 0 and my credit report states settled but the car still shows outstanding finance on a hpi check. i have tryed to get them to clear hpi but nothing happens but i can get a fax stating they no longer have intrest in the car... what can i do? ANY.

Lol, hardly the OP's fault if they've chased it and the company can't collect the money. Get the fax stating they no longer have an interest in the car?!0

It doesnt really matter what there saying. At some point they will realise that you owe them this money and chase it. The fact you have been dishonest about it will likely make the whole situation difficult and result in you fighting bailiffs etc.
Phone them and tell them they have made an error and you still owe them the cash. Ask them to restart payments immediately and pay it off.
do not read any posts proper?
your always jumping in with your mouth and having a go at people why?
OP has said he has phoned month after month to sort this to me thats not dishonest as you put it
dont know why you always need to have a go at people maybe you should sort your own probsIf you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter

If you can find out who the administrators are write to them, send the letter recorded delivery, explaining the situation.
If that doesn't resolve it I'd be tempted to contact citizens advice or a solicitor on this one to make sure if you do get away without paying this back is done legally - i.e. you've covered yourself.0
