Hi sorry to be cheeky but I have lost my envelope for this trial, but it was from Cosmo, I was wondering if you would be kind enough to pm me the address please.
    Thank you :o
  • Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with this shower gel? I recently had a very bad allergic reaction to something and im trying to figure out what the hell to! The only new things ive tried recently that are out of the norm is this shower gel and a couple of shampoos. It has brought the skin on my face out in lumps and an itchty red rash. The doctor said it was allergic contact dermatitis and could have been from a chemical in the gel or shampoo. Im now paranoid about using anything! Anyways it may not be either of these things but in my desperation to find what caused all this mess i thought id give a shout out and see how everyone else has got on! Ive never had any allergies to anything before now, nothing! so this is totally outta the blue and quite scary!

    Thanks everyone

  • I think the same thing happened to me! I've had one or two bad reactions to things in the past and after a few days of using this it happened again and I got a few small patches of itchy, dry skin over my body. :(
It smells so horribly synthetic I'm hardly surprised though.

Wasn't keen on the smell at all either. Wrote that on the feedback too.

I did not have an allergic reaction, but it did dry out my skin! I have dry skin anyway, but normally not so dry I need to do anything about it. I use a body scrub (St Ives) fine and leave it at that. Never had to use any special products. But this gel did leave my skin itchy dry- took off my black top to see dry skin cells where I had been scratching! (Odd nail lines streaking across my top- lol! Looked like I had been had by a wild snow animal!!)

No red lumps or anything though. Did write it all on the feedback.
  • Just got an email from Cosmo asking if I wanted to continue testing for them (in association with Avon), yeay more freebies!
