Awning over patio door

I'm thinking of investing in one of those extendable awnings that fit to the outside wall over the patio door. I just wondered if anyone had done this, or had any experience with them, and if so, whether they are any good. They seem quite awkward to fit, so don't want to make a mistake and be left with a lot of 14mm holes in the wall. We have a south facing garden, and on the face of it, they seem like a good idea, rather than the usual brolly.

Thanks. Robert Dyas has one, heavily reduced, but in fact the link that you provided has a better selection for pretty much the same price. I was just a bit concerned how robust they were, and what it would look like. Difficult to visualise. They seem pretty good though, at least for a few years, hopefully.
