prawns,,how far past use by is safe???

not sure if this is in the right forum. Would it be ok to eat some prawns that have a use by of the 6th?thayve been in my fridge sealed, forgot they were there and now i hate to throw them out

out of date shellfish and seafood are the things that have the most chance of putting in you in a coffin . very very dangerous.

ive had prawns past their sell by date in the past and im still alive!0

Can't stand prawns of any age or price. I find them completely tasteless. To me the only reason for eating them would be for whatever sauce they were immersed in.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
