I Apologise if this as been aired before.
My question is, back in the 1980s when the Conservative government was in power, and they allowed the people who generates our electricity to use our north sea gas supply, making it undoubtedly cheaper. And at the same time splitting our supplier up to as many as the market can stand. What I want to know is, are we now paying more than we should because more firms are trying to make a profit, and of course you switch, and others including this website, all trying to get some of the action.
And as for myself, I am fed up looking to see if one is cheaper than another, and all this messing about. Life is to short for that sort of thing.
I will be interested to read peoples views with a better IQ than mine explain to me the situation.
Ralph.
