Driving experience..

Options
Hiya all,

After a bit of advice really.

I bought my OH a driving experience for his birthday with a well known gift experience company. We went to it last week and cant decide whether we ought to write a complaint letter or not.

Firstly, on the web it states "Drive on our fantastic 1.8 mile purpose built circuit at Fully qualified and experienced ARDS racing instructors Welcome, introduction and briefing on circuit driving techniques 3 laps (5.4 miles) demonstration with instructor driving the BMW Alpina D3 4 laps (7.2 miles) driving in your chosen Thrill car(s) Individual Driving Certificate" (Quoted) in which when we arrive, the actualy car that he got taken around the circuit in was a Ford Focus! There isnt anywhere on the website that states you will taken around in a Focus!

Then, we eagerly awaited for his photo, and was fobbed of with the excuse of 'we have had a few problems with our WIFI and are waiting for the photos to come through'. 40 minutes later, it turns out that they had lost the photos, so we couldnt buy one! (I know that its not something that we recieve as we have to buy it!).

Was a bit dissappointed and so was the OH as its not like something that you would do everyday!

What do you guys think I should do? Is it worth sending a complaint in?

Thanks in advance
So much for 'Money Saving' ;)

I would make a complaint if it's the company I'm thinking of then they will do something about it. I'm going dolphin watching with them in 2 weeks but they don't guarantee seeing dolphins.

Well there's Ford Focus' and Ford Focus'. Some are heavy and slow, some can give supercars a run for their money. So it depends what sort of Focus it was!

    Anyway, did he enjoy himself?
  • Depends what "Ford Focus"

Nothing wrong if its an st / rs?

Show everyone a link to what you bought and then we can compare whats advertised as to what you recieved

  • Most of the driving experiences that I have done state in the terms and conditions that they may supply other cars to the ones that are listed. Maybe one of their cars broke down or was damaged during another session. See what the terms and conditions state as they may have covered themselves.
