Cattery worries...

  • I would prefer to leave the cats at home as I have a good neighbour who would come and feed and pet them but unfortunately the younger cat is very much a "people" person and once when we left them overnight like this he soiled one of our beds. He is round us all the time and is very talky - I think he thinks he is human!

The soiling seemed like distress to me, so my thought was that at least at a good cattery he would know this was something different not that we had just left the cats.

Am going to check out other catteries this week.

Could he go on his 'holidays' to a cat friendly pals, mine loves it at my mums (although she has put on weight being indoors). She's a bit put out about being locked in but is other wise enjoying herself and is being made a fuss of. We packed lots of toys, her snuggles and favorite string and she's doing really well.
