New E- Bayer

Some help required for a novice e-bayer.
There is an item I am interested in buying but not at the reserve price listed. E-Bay it appears will not let me make an offer. There is no other bids and the deadline is near and I'm sure the seller would be interested in at least hearing of my offer. Any suggestions gratefully received.

    There's a link on the item page to contact the seller or ask a question, do that.
    Be polite and put your proposal, be prepared for the answer no.

    Agree with RFW, contact the seller, but remember, some sellers are not that desperate at the end of the day :)

    im new to ebay too i am selling an item and i personally wouldnt mind if someone made an offer.
