Hi, I have been a 'haggler' for a while now, made myself £50 in pocket money so far! Great site.0
-
I have used this site many times for myself, friends and family members looking for a bargain. The hagglers have nearly always found the things I have listed cheaper than what we have seen them for. The people who use the site are very friendly and helpful. Some great deals have been found on things like holidays and electricals. If you are not happy with the information provided by the haggler you have 3 days to dispute it. This site is great for people who haven't got time to shop around and also for those who like to know they are getting a good deal. I hope this helps even though you queried it a while ago now!!!!
By the way there is a free to enter World Cup competition on there at the moment and you can win up to £200.00.0 -
Its a fantastic site, you can't go wrong if they can't find it for less it costs you nothing.
I have done some haggling on there myself and won The Top Gear Challenge and also found the best price for a vasectomy for the site owner
All the shoppers are sure they have the best possible price and the hagglers make a bit for their time too its excellent.
What I have seen a couple of time and don't like is when people have asked for help on MSE people have replied by saying put it on haggle4me and I will see what I can do, which is wrong.
I withdrew my account of £250 from haggling a while ago..0 -
Hi Tony,
What was your haggle name then? I wonder did you ever find me a deal?!
I do notice you get a lot of hagglers talking about the site but then I suppose you would because they are probably more savvy about these things than say a shopper(lister) like me.
I do see them trying to promote the site but from reading the h4me forum I think this is because they really want it to work and not because they are being mean.
Don't you haggle anymore then?0 -
I have been a haggler for since March and have made over £100,great way to make money and save people loads of money by finding the cheapest item they are looking for......my biggest saving i found for anyone was for a printer,i saved them over a £100.It's very user friendly and has a forum and competions etc...... if you go into advance search you can see history of savings made for shoppers.....they also have a free section, for items under £50.00 that people are looking for.......if no one finds a listed item listed cheaper than the shopper then,no fee,but that way you know you've found the cheapest going......Hope to see you there....:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T

I've just tried using the site and have noticed that I have to input my credit card details and my card will be charged £1 (it says that this will be used against any future fee)
I'm only looking to join the site to haggle i.e find deals for people to make money, isn't this free?
I would be grateful to anyone who can help me.0 -

You can register without providing credit card details but this does restrict you to posting on forum boards.
If you want to post a listing or a haggle then you are obliged to provide card details so we can verify your identity. This means we can deal with people doing "bad" haggles i.e. help, support, monitor, suspend, ban. It also provides some sort of guarantee to Hagglers that they will get paid.
Unfortunately there is no other way of checking peoples identities or their means of paying haggle fees. We take £1 because this is the minimum payment we are allowed to take by our Payment Service Provider (Metacharge/Deutsche Bank). It is also the only way we can automate the whole payment/info exchange process at the end of listings.
Lastly, just to confirm that you are not paying H4M £1 and that this payment is creditted to your H4M account.
Hope this helps but let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. You can also ask other users on the H4M forum... lots of them are MSE users too!

I paid the £1.00 fee,but got it back when i transfered the money i had made,so i paid not a penny to register to haggle, and after all that £1.00 help me make over £100.00,of course when you win a haggle,HAGGLE4ME take percentage, that's how they make money, but it's not a lot,if you save someone (shopper) £20 you ( haggler ) get £5.00,minus 25% commision to HAGGLE4ME,it soon mounts up after a few weeks,or days if your a great Haggler. It's quite additive,as your always trying to beat the best price,i've been beaten by 1p before, really frustrating.......hope this helps.:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist."
