Just feel conned by my local boots. Used a rosie against no7 face wipes and SA said "oh they are on 3for2 so you can buy 3 for £8 with your voucher" I worked out this was more than 3x£1.50 so said no, I'll buy one and get another voucher and buy again. She said no you can't have a voucher when you are only spending £1.50. I still only bought one.

At other till I was buying 2 fcuk perfume refills £3.50 and bogohp and a meal deal. SA said I had enough points to pay for perfume and would I like to pay for my lunch separately. So this cost me £5.25 in points and £2.99 cash and no rosie becuase I'd paid the over £5 bit in points. I think SA new what she was up to.

And why have they always run out of spoons when they are still selling yoghurts/puddings etc?

Sorry I can't find them online, I bought them because I had the dispensers from a gift set last christmas. They are in slim cardboard covers, pure is blue/green and polished is pink.

Update re free gift with new mascara, in my Glamour mag (Oct issue) It showed a eyeshadow set simliar to the last one that was free last time, with more purple smokey shades in it.

Hopefully it should start soon while the rosie is valid.

I need (NEED, I say!) it to start by Saturday (5th)! I have to go to France on Sunday 6th and I won't be back until after the Rosies have expired!

That reminds me, I need to plan a trip to Boots on Friday or Saturday to use my five or so remaining Rosies.

Come on Boots, get on with it!

I always seem to get the really awkward SA's wherever I go. I went last week to a small Boots, only because I had no alternative, trying to find something to spend 3 rosies on. I must have got the SA from hell as she took great delight in telling me I couldn't get any of the things I tried - without actually trying though! She looked at me with venom when I asked if she would just try for me!

In the end, I said forget it, I will just buy this (expensive) shampoo which my husband has to have!!! She gave me the receipt and the change and no rosie! So I asked for it, obviously, and she looked at me again with narrowed eyes, and said "Oh, I didn't think you wanted it, seeing as you haven't used the others you've got!" Cheek!!! I said no thanks, I did want it and I would be using it as soon as I could. She then took it out of the till as if it was killing her to do it. Surely it's not up to her whether she gives you a rosie or not??

So, I now have four of the things and all the possibilities I read about on here, just makes my stomach sink to my boots (!Boots, boots!!) as I know that the branch here won't have anything or if you do manage to find something, the SA won't allow you to have it. And then I would have to go to four separate tills if I found something. And then, there's the security man who seems to follow me around...........

That sucks. Complain. Demand to speak to the manager if the SA is being a pain in the rear for no reason, (obviously not if you're trying to get away with a glitch, but if it's something you feel should genuinely work).

As for the SA who was difficult about the Rosie, I'd have had the manager called and complained about her on the spot, or asked for her name and called Customer Services. If you are entitled to a voucher, it's her job to give it to you, not to decide whether or not you want or need it. If you decide you don't want it, it's up to you to give it away or throw it away. It shouldn't matter to her whether you have 4 others, or 4000 others. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Some of these SAs act like the cost of the voucher comes out of their own pocket and it drives me insane! They're shop assistants for goodness sake, who do they think they are? I'm the first to appreciate good service and often write to congratulate companies who do well, but in the same vein I simply will not stand for poor service.

If you get stuck for what to use them on, some good options that are cheap and work without hassle are the no7 quick thinking wipes and no7 nail polish.

I was going to use my 4 Rosies for the wipes but I have been using the Tesco Vitamin E 27p ones since somebody recommended them on here. Also I dont need varnish. So I will send them to the first person to pm me with name and address. No payment or stamp needed. I am off to Switzerland to see my sis for 2 weeks Thursday so wont get to use them.
